Music: My Bloody Valentine
It is very rare I'll post about music these days which is a sad reflection on modern music. On Sunday morning I was stunned to see something arrive that many have waited over 2 decades for. Yes, the new album from My Bloody Valentine.
A band you either love or hate this is a unique journey through the hazy effects of MBV before the last couple of tracks pick up the pace and take you somewhere totally new. Needless to say I really am enjoying the LP and look forward to the vinyl packaging due sometime soon. It's arrival took me back to the 90's and my own youth. The epic nature of Loveless and the realisation that even today, with all the tech and recording tools available; nothing sounds like My Bloody Valentine.
