Heading North

Just an update to say things will be quiet here this week as I'll be visiting Banffshire for a couple of days. Mainly to relax and get away from the madness of the modern daily routine. What better way to achieve that by taking in a few distilleries and relaxing in the hotel bar with a sizeable selection of malts?

I haven't decided which distilleries yet - the choice in the Banff vacinity is amazing - even at this time of year thanks to the Malt Whisky Trail. I'd expect Glenfiddich, Cardhu and Benromach to be the front runners. However there's also Glen Grant, Glen Moray and Macallan to highlight but three.

Expect a few photographs for those unfortunate not to live in Scotland when I return.
