Gotta Change

Saturday, August 11, 2007

Three lads lost their lives last night, locally. Unfortunately another case of youngsters dying in a car crash. It's beyond the point where something has to be done. Not only am I fed up of teenager drivers, loud exhusts and so on, but they're dying faster than our lads in Iraq.

Youth's don't appreciate the dangers or responsibilities that having a driving license brings. So the government need to clamp down and increase the age before you can drive. Those looking forward to driving at 17 (or whenever it is), well tough. I'd rather not see 'em on the roads until age 20 and even then some restrictions in place.

Limitations on engine size, enhancements and carrying additional passengers. The government makes plenty of money from licenses and it is a problem that needs to be tackled. Not only in deaths, but injuries and annoyance to regular drivers on the road.
