We Now Pause For Station Identification

Excellent short story by Gary A Braunbeck, which did not disappoint. The setting itself (with the dead coming back to life) was not original but the twist and thoughts of the radio DJ - trapped in his booth - certainly were. And these weren't flesh crazed creatures of the undead either.

Published by Endeavor Press , who are based in Chicago. It's a dinky little chapbook, coming in at around 19 pages with this first edition of 500 being signed by the author. I may look out for more work by the author in the future.

House Update

It's all sorted. Yes, you did read that right, so I'll say it again. It's all sorted. We are now just letting solicitors get on with the paperside of things. Now we can concentrate on moving and clearing out any rubbish in the meantime. If anyone out there wants a cheap 3 piece bathroom suite from HomeBase that cost us approx £700, but is still packaged and sitting in our garage - let me know.

Back to Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke in the meantime.
